While sailing Mexico's Sea of Cortez, in 2010, I worked on a couple of books, one of them a series of fables, the other about Mexico. The blue portraits are people I met along the way. Sailors, fishermen, drug dealers, etc. There were a few commissions, some personal experiments, and so on. All of it seemed ocean-inspired.
