Amsterdam, three weeks in March, 2006
i spent almost a month in amsterdam. i know it better, now, than LA, where i live.
i wrote some fables, did some drawings, and ate a lot to stay warm. other than that i spent most of my available time - which was substantial - in Second Life.
every now and then i would stop to go outside, or on the way to work i would see the critters suffering the snow and cold. i became worried about the ducks outside. i decided they must all have frostbitten feet. i gave them lots of bread, which they seemed to appreciate.
